What is conflict?

Conflict is the result of vanity impacting trust leading to unnecessary competition. For a more nuanced definition, please read my article on conflict’s definition.

What is coaching?

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

What is conflict coaching?

I define conflict coaching as partnering with a person to find underlying values that block the individual from navigating conflict in a positive way. Simply put, conflict coaching helps people understand how to better navigate conflict in their lives.

How do I help (people)?

I use a three-prong approach to help you navigate conflict. Most often, we will have a minimum of three sessions, and there is no upper-limit.

  • Identify how you approach conflict and how those around you approach conflict
  • Identify your underlying values that define how you navigate conflict
  • Practice navigating difficult conversations and situations

How do I help (organizations)?

I offer a conflict coaching platform for managers and HR professionals to navigate conflict within organizations. In both one-on-one and group settings, I give trainings from 5 hours to 20 hours long.

Using a transformative mediation approach, I can also resolve conflicts on behalf of an organization as a neutral, third-party. Read the benefits of having someone on the outside resolve internal workplace conflicts here

Why me?

I have dedicated my professional life to resolving conflict. I earned both a law degree and a doctoral degree intending to use my academic knowledge to help others navigate conflict. With over 75 hours of Facilitative Mediation Training, hundreds of hours mediating, and thousands of hours writing and speaking about conflict management, I continuously improve my practice helping others navigate conflict.

My pricing model is simple, based on a sliding scale. I also use the honor system.
